Skunk Island Skiff
(Grade 11)

Available to bid on at Inspire live auction only.

Get ready for maritime adventure and discovery! SWS Grade 11 presents you with a beautiful boat, which was constructed by the class in the fall of 2013 at the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend under the guidance of two professional boat builders. The boat is a Skunk Island Skiff; it is made from marine grade plywood including sapele and yellow cedar and has stainless steel fasteners. It has three coats of marine grade primer on the outside of the hull and is ready for its final color and any finish on the inside. A set of oars is included. The skiff is very easy to use and is a great boat for a novice rower. It can also be adapted to carry a sailing rig.
