The Crab Grab
(Grade 2)

Available to bid on at Inspire live auction only.

It doesn’t get fresher than this! Taste our Sound’s world-famous crab as it should be – caught and cooked within hours – when your party of four comes aboard your host’s 26’ Parker for a fun-filled day of crabbing and fishing. Your host, a Grade 2 student’s grandfather, will guide you to some of the best crabbing spots anywhere from Hat Island to Agate Pass. Your day will begin by 9:00 a.m., departing from the Edmonds Marina. Enjoy the beautiful views on your way to put out the crab pots. Then you have time to try your hand at fishing or just relax on the open water. Your party will cook and eat your fresh crab right on the boat, accompanied by sides and drinks (plus some snacks) packed by Grade 2 parents. Another round of laying out and pulling in the pots and some more fishing will finish out the day, arriving back around 4:00 p.m.

Restrictions: Up to four guests (two of whom may be children over 6 years old) may attend. A one-day crabbing/fishing license provided by Grade 2 for each guest. Trip must occur during the local crabbing season (beginning July 1, 2014, and lasting approximately 4-8 weeks). Trip must occur from Thursday through Monday. Date of trip to be mutually agreed upon. Each guest must bring his/her own life jacket. Boat owner/operator reserves the right to reschedule a trip for safety reasons (e.g., weather conditions).

Thank you: Grade 2 with special thanks to Burch Cambers
